What Is OEE

 

OEE stands for Overall Equipment Effectiveness and is used to monitor manufacturing effectiveness.

There are three factors that are taken into consideration for the final OEE result:

• OEE Availability
• OEE Performance
• OEE Quality

The resulting OEE number is represented as a percentage and allows comparisons across differing industries.

Availability = actual runtime / production time

Performance = infeed / (standard rate * actual runtime)

Quality =  good units produced /  actual number of units started
